TT Electronics Receives UK Government Funding for Sustainable Aviation Technology Development

TT Electronics, TT Electronics, a leading provider of custom power solutions and engineered technologies, is delighted to announce it has received a substantial funding award as part of a £200 million joint government and industry investment plan to boost British manufacturing and R&D.
The funding, which will be delivered through the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) Programme, is being awarded to Aerospace R&D projects across the UK that support the development of energy efficient and zero-carbon aircraft technology and accelerate the transition to net zero aviation.
With a steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability and technological advancement, TT Electronics has been granted funding to advance the research and development of technology to support electrical power conversion and electric machines for future more electric and all electric aircraft operating at higher voltages.
“As a trusted partner to global OEMs in the aviation sector, we have a long history of developing cutting-edge power solutions that drive efficiency and performance.” commented Julian Thomas, Engineering Director at TT Electronics. “The funding will directly support our power conversion product and technology roadmap, developed in collaboration with Government organisations and industry partners, to facilitate greater electrification of aircraft and aircraft systems.”
